Fishing Report Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Salmon have been caught east of the harbor, 40 to 60 feet down in waters 70 to 90 feet of water. Many are using magnum spoons along with dodgers and squid. Lake trout can be found south of the harbor in 70 to 90 feet of water. Try using cut bait rigs and fishing near the bottom. Brown trout have moved in closer, so try fishing small spoons in 30 to 40 feet of water. Steelhead are hitting on color lines and small spoons. Yellow perch fishing has been slow, with a few fish taken near the Lighthouse and the Cemetery. Some large walleye were caught when casting body baits off the north wall.
