DIRTY DOG Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 well its not a slamon report but its a report last nite after work , and reading all the reports of perch lately, i decided to make a eveninng tour down to south haven with my oldest doughter we found a large school in 31 to 32 fow south of the peirs, but most where small in the 6 to 7 inch class and after moveing a few times found a school of nicer fish in 22 fow and proceeded to pull 70 nice fish in the 9 to 11 inch range , all where on minnows south of the harber between the peirs and deer lick ,well now im headed back to get a few more before the lake get rough on sunday and the fish move out:D
Sea-Mac Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Nice job Terry. Just dont post any pictures of coolers full of them tasty morsels. It took quite awhile for my mouth to stop watering the last time you did that.
Priority1 Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 WTG Terry. Nothing better than a plate of those yellow bellies.
DIRTY DOG Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 just got done cleaning todays catch ,was not as good as last nite , but we managed 40 nice keepers all around 9 inchers ,and we did get a lot of small one today
silver one Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Nice Terry I was out Sat doing the salmon thing and ended up 1 for 1. Little rough to go out to were I wanted to be and ended up fishing 60 to 105 feet. Marked fish but no takers. wanted to perch fish but could not anchor up and stay in one spot due to the waves. Ended up pulling the boat home after being in for 7 weeks, What a mess. I have some serious scrubbbing to do.
Treblemaker Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Perch! Now that's what I'm talking about! Thanks for the report Terry.
