DarkBlue Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 My crew and I are coming down for the Dreamweaver challenge (ducking water balloons likely the whole way. I'm looking for info on where to bunk down the night before. Indoors, outdoors, no doors, doesn't matter. Thanks much. Also, as we have never fished the area anyone willing to share any little pieces of experience would be greatly appreciated. Well, I had to ask didn't I? Thanks all, looking forward to seeing you all down there. Chris
tltorrice Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Chris, the Fishermans Landing boat launch also has a campground. My crew and I will be camping there as well as others. Here is the link if you are interested. http://www.muskegon-mi.gov/community/parks/park.asp?ParkID=7 This is a nice campground with showers, fish cleaning station and a freezer. Hope this helps.Tom
Losin Lures Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 It's Bike weekend that weekend so the campground is gonna be pretty full. Make your reservations sooner rather than later.
Paulywood Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Last I knew Fisherman's Landing was pretty much booked. However, I might know someone who is going to be cancelling their tent site. I plan on talking to him tonight and I will let you know. As far as fishing, there isn't much structure so the fish are pretty temperature dependent. There are commercial nets though. When we get closer to the tourney hopefully someone can get the coordinates and let everyone know. The nets are marked very well. I will be staying at Fisherman's Landing, feel free to look me up.Nick
