We caught 3 nice lakers [2 were just under 5#] and a small king today. Most were caught 60-70 in 80fow. We went out to 150 but nothing. We marked lots of baitfish near the surface and the fish I cleaned was full of 3" minnows.

King was near surface in 60-70fow.

Not great day but not skunked either.

Saw 2 other boats [and a freighter that cut inside us!] and they went in by 10am.

Fish on the grill this weekend.

WTG. If the walleye bite slows I may give Oscoda a try. I fished Oscoda a lot before the salmon took a dive. Thanks for the report.
