I just picked up 7 greatlakes 47lcs. Does any one know how to do the upgrades for them. By that I mean washers drags etc. I was looking at doing this myself. Thanks Todd ZING-KING...

I have had them apart and it's not too bad. Buy the parts and go for it. You will do the second one twice as fast as the first. EZ:)

Tuna Tom in Ludington does great work. He has rebuilt a number of reels(including 47LC's) with drag upgrades for me and I've been very pleased with his work.
