GLF Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 You are out fishing with your fishing partner(s), and are going to run 6 lines. What would you run? Down riggers, divers, lead core, etc, etc, etc.I realize time of year needs to be factored into the the equation. What would you run spring, summer, and fall? Also, what baits would you run on your lines?
McFly Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 I think this is one of the most versitle setups. Very good if fish are really hitting. Two riggers/one with SWR rig on it--- spoon on SWR flasher/fly on otherTwo divers set at diff. depths--- one spoon one f/f combo set oposite of riggersTwo leadcores--- 7 color, 3 color on inlines; spoons on both, orange on 3 colorChange out lures as needed
CaptLevi Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 I would duplicate McFly's spread for salmon as a starting place and adjust as needed. For steelies I would run 2 divers, and 4 bird rods.Same for Browns.Lakers would be 3 riggers, 2 lead core, and a 1-2 pound drop weight rig.
