shu9265 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Went back out again tonite, well more like this evening.Went to 26 fow, where I marked some high spots, and the Jumbo Perch were there! ! ! The average size was 12 inches. My father-in-law, and my son joined me tonite in the rain.We left the dock at 5:45pm, and were escorted out of the harbor by the Coast guard, but they went East, and we were headed West.We got set up at about 6pm, and by 8:30pm we had 90 perch in the box !The bilge pump never really had a chance to stop it was raining that hard ! ! !We were soaked to the skin, and you should have seen there faces light up when I told them I had dry warm coats for all of us ! ! !All in all we had a great time, and Thanks to Mother Nature, NO lightning.
Priority1 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Fantastic Bill. Love them Lake Perch. I usually fish for perch in the Fall, on Saginaw Bay. I was just wondering if the perch over there are feeding on the water fleas? The last few years, the perch off AuGres were puking up water fleas when we threw them in the cooler.
