luv2fish Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 We hit the water on Saturday at 7 a.m. and set lines in 90 fow. We went 10 for 11 between 100 and 130 fow. We ended up with 6 kings, 3 coho, and 1 steelhead. The first three fish came on 300 ft. of copper. The biggest king, about 8 lbs., came on a dipsy 180 back on an echip flasher with a blue dolphin. The rest of the fish came on riggers set between 30 to 60 ft. down on different green spoons. It was a great day on the water. Thanks, the 8point, for taking me.On Sunday, we hit the water at 6 a.m. and trolled out to 90 fow and set our lines there. We trolled out to 120 fow, where the wire dipsy set at 240 ft. back, with a hoochie mama lime flasher and lime fly, went off and ripped out 300 ft. We landed a nice king ( 32 inches, 12 lbs.). We ended the day with 7 fish. They came on mostly riggers, between 35 and 50 ft. down, on different green spoons. We did get two nice kings on wire with the same fly and flasher. Both kings weighed 12 lbs. It looks like the fish are starting to move in closer. We marked a lot of fish in 60 to 100 fow. Thanks, the8point, for taking me. I'm going to try post pictures.
