Grand haven Fishing Report

Fishing is continuing to get better out of Grand Haven over the past week. There have been some nice catches. Lake Trout are still hanging around the area and are coming in nice sizes.

Some baits that have been catching Lake Trout are The Stinger shrode, Lemon ice and mixed Veggie. Salmon have been coming on stinger Glow Dolphin, Mixed Veggie. Holy Christmas, Can’t Afford it and orange shanster. Both the stingray and regular sized Stinger have been producing.

Fish have been showing up from 125-190 feet of water and anywhere from a 5-color lead core down to the bottom. Fishing should continue to improve over the next couple of week so good luck out there!

Thanks for the report. Several of us were out of Muskegon last Saturday and from what I heard the success was minimal. We are all hoping that the fishing improves soon.
