toanton Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Hello everybody. What tackle box do you prefer for spoons storage ?
boomerang Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 the large box holds 250+ SPOONS AND IS CALLED TACKLE-RACK BY FINOVATIONZ,INC THE SMALLER BOX IS MADE BY PLANO AND IS MODEL 3503, SPOON/SPINNERBIAT BOX holding about 90+ spoons
Priority1 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Here is the one I use. It came with my boat, and it was almost full of spoons.http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/store/Special_Mate_8__Spoon_Tackle_Box.htm
scott w Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I also have the "special mate" it's a nice box but not cheap, about $50.00.
Yooperdad Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I custom made this holder from plexiglass to fit a falt spot on my dash. Had to put the top on it to keep the spoons from coming out of the slots when running under rougher conditions. Yooperdad
TheKingfisher Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I'll second the 'special mate'. I think it's a great box. I'm to the point where I almot need 2 of them *gasp*...
minnow Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 http://www.hook-um.com/contact_hookum.html I like these.
TheKingfisher Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 The Hook-Ums are nice to, I have two that I keep my 'hot' lures on for easy access. They work well for glow stuff to b/c they are UV blocking etc...
caznik Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 If anyone like to get a special mate tackle box. Go to the sport show next week and they are about 30-35 dollars. That is where I got mine at.Caz
Treblemaker Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I use my basement, it is the only space big enough to handle my full collection.
Priority1 Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I use my basement, it is the only space big enough to handle my full collection. LMAO Tim. Aint it the truth.
DeadWater Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 There are a couple boxes out there called the maxi-mate and mini-mate. I have the mni mate but its a little shallow for magnum spoons. They both are alot like the special mate but a little more compact.Sorry I don't have pic's you may be able to google them
