It seems clear that the alternative-energy industry is posed to thrive in the coming decades and that Michigan possesses many of the natural and human resources required to allow it to be at the forefront of that boom.

Probably a good idea! I watched a program last week about all sorts of alternative energy. There was one technique that used water for power, and it wasn't a damn. This technique use currents in the ocean to turn giant propellers to generate power. Regardless, this would be a good plan to generate some work in Michigan. A very green way to generate power.
