News Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Having cured the Ottawa bureaucracy of its addiction to the UN's Kyoto climate treaty, the Conservative government is now set to tackle two genuine eco-problems: 1) pollution in the Great Lakes, and 2) the stunning reality that a large of amount of Canada's sewage -- up to one-fifth -- is dumped raw into lakes, rivers and oceans because there is no law requiring cities to treat their waste before discharging it.More...
