My brother made a Lineup Bar for me, last year. If anyone works in a machine shop and needs the dimensions for one let me know. This bar will work on the Mercruisers, OMCs and some Volvos. They recommend checking the alignment between the Gimbal Bearing and the engine coupler every time the outdrive is pulled. It is a MUST when the engine coupler and or Gimbal Bearing is changed. If there is any misalignment it can ruin the bearing, or worse the engine coupler. Anyone in my area that needs to use this tool give me a shout. These bars cost anywhere between $60-$100 not including shipping. They are heavy.
