GLF Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 For those that do not know, I am a prostaff for MiStinger. Today MiStinger put on a terrific pig roast for their prostaff. While I was there, I got to play with some spoons and tape. I asked for Robs opinion on them, and he asked me to ask everyone on the website. Do you think this spoon should go into production for the 2008 season? Please give feed back either way.
GLF Posted September 24, 2007 Author Posted September 24, 2007 I put this spoon together earlier this year. I have had a lot of success with this one. I liked it so much, I put it in the Stinger Lure package for the Stinger Challenge. The day of the Stinger Challenge, this one went 5 times for me.
Storm Warning II Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Is there a theme here? All are kinda NBK knock offs, this is like NBK over Monkey Puke
DIRTY DOG Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 p.s. this is not a monkey puke it is a tangerine also none as a killer tangerine
Storm Warning II Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I guess it is a little more orange at the periphery
GLF Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 Its not a very good picture of the spoon. It is a tangerine spoon with killer tape. This is known as a "Killer Tangerine".
silver one Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Looks like a good steelhead spoon. What species took this the most?
GLF Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 Looks like a good steelhead spoon. What species took this the most?I have caught a mixed bag of fish in it. Coho, kings, and steelhead, depending on what depth I was pulling it. I think it will be a GREAT bait for steelhead!
GLF Posted December 29, 2007 Author Posted December 29, 2007 I spoke with Rob and Terry at Michigan Stinger. This spoon will be in production for the 2008 season. Here is a nice king caught on this during the Stinger Challenge.
