I took a guy from work, his only 2nd ever salmon fishing trip and we were 5-12 should have been 9-12, we had 2 realeases no one home and 1 got off after being hooked for about 20 seconds. The others should have made it to net. 3 fish were busted on riggerline while fighting multiples, one was neat though as it snapped my line I was running a stacker and the fish slid right down to my other line and I realed it in saved lure and all. 8 of the hits all came on #3 pearl-silver J with red face. 2 hits on black ladder back spoon NBK and 1 on Lemon Ice and 1 on watermelon.

Most came 20' in the arms

I haven't had my boat out since before Labor Day. My last outing was Manistee. I have been catching up on some chores I let slide. I changed the oil in my boat today, but that doesn't mean that I'm laying it up. I'll get back in the groove.
