Hard Baits in the river mouths

Most of the posts here are specific to trolling. I am planning a trip to cast stick baits near the Muskegon River mouth. Does anyone have any reports on the movement of the Salmon into the river?

Not many fish in the muskegon yet. I think next week will be the week to fish the lower muskegon. This week has warm weather we need some rain and a couple cold nights. The white and pm have good numbers of fish tho. Glad to see we have a river fisherman on this site.

we did get a run up the grand. will fish the river this weekend and post results

I've found the darker the fish become,the better they respond to stick baits/rattle baits.

When their just bronze(not brown or black)they seem to prefer spoons.
