GLF Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I am thinking about putting together a Stinger Challenge on Lake Huron in June of 2008. I will still have a Stinger Challenge on Lake Michigan in July or August also.Who would be intereseted in doing it?
tltorrice Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I would be interested. I have never fished Lake Huron and it is about time.ThanksTom Torrice
Paulywood Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I'd be interested Mike. One of my friends fishes out of Harrisville and I've been meaning to get up there and fish. Besides, it's probably closer for me.
Dv8oR Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I'm game my brother!!!(Wondering how to rig for Salmon and Walleye) Hmmmmm....

Priority1 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 U betcha:) If it's a Walleye tournament the Saginaw Bay RULES. One suggestion if we do go for walleye please let us run crawler harnesses, even if they must be pulled behind a Stinger Spoon. Give em meat, and even people unfamiliar with the area will catch fish. The harnesses will produce even when spoons and cranks do not.

Redeye Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 The Redeye is game. Would love to fish Lake huron again!!!

All I knew was bottom bouncers and crawler harnesses. Took home 8lbers!!!! Was hooked, ran back every weekend for a month straight!

Dv8oR- It's still the same but not the quanity of big fish as in the late 90's but there is still a high abundance of fish but it is still a great fishery. I hope the Tourney is held here ...
McFly Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I would be in for this also. Just a suggestion; the tip of the Thumb ports will give you a shot at Walleye and Silver.
