captain_crabass Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 This was filmed in Gates Mills , Ohio according to the first post before deletion, thankfully someone had copied it and reposted the new link, ODNR is aware of it and is investigating. I couldnt even afford the taxes let alone a home in Gates Mills, Pretty stupid to post a video of youself poaching
LongLine Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 That's disgusting. They should be taken out & flogged. :angry2:
special x Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 To treat one of the finest game fish on this planet like that is a discrace.:angry2:
silver one Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 The really sad part about this is that these guys call themselves educated im sure, because they have college degrees. Only proves anyone can pay money to buy a degree but you cant buy common sense.
Walleye Express Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Heres my take on this bizzar video. These guys for one do not know what it truly takes to fool a great game fish like these into biting. Nor the sense of pride one has when finally catching one legally during fair chase. Nor the real sense of acomplishment when carefully un-hooking and releasing one back to the river, to spawn and make more of these great game fish after the catch. During my many trips during my 15 years guiding for steeleheads on Michigan waters out of my drift boat, I've seen many good and bad things done by people of all walks of life. I truly believe these guys are not simply bad sportsmen, but simply ignorant to what this video means and looks like to true sportsmen.
