LkEffect
Fishing out of Pentwater on saturday morning was excellant! Started out in 80-90 fow off the dunes and continued south past the point moving out to 120-130 fow as the morning went on. Divers back 150'-270' and copper lengths from 225' to 400' worked great. Riggers 100'-130' down with 11" coyote flashers with oceana or hypnotist rapture flies were on fire. 8" pro troll green, white, and chart. flashers with wild fern, hypnotist or hitman no-see-um rapture flies took many of our fish on divers and copper. A stingray sized lemon ice and green dolphin stingray also took some big kings on 225' of copper throughout the day. The fishing remained great as the morning went on and by 10:30 we called it a day after boating over 20 fish. A great mix of big cohos, kings 12-17lbs and lake trout made a fun morning of fishing. Good Luck!
Tuffship
Sounds like a good day on the lake. What ramp do you use in Pentwater, I have been also looking for a close camp ground.
GLF
Nice job of salmon slammin. Are you fishing the Waypoint/Tower Marine tourney this weekend?
LkEffect
At pentwater we use the ramp at Charlies marina. It is expensive if you dont pay for the whole year but it is the best one. There is a free ramp on the south side of the lake but it can be in rough shape and no parking. The city has a good ramp for smaller boats that is just down the road from charlies. We will not be fishing the saugatuck tourney. Good luck to those that do!
