doughman Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 I took a friend out last night and his 13 yr old son. We started about 7:30pm in 110ft took a 10lber right off the bat, Our next fish came at 10pm 133 ft water 70 down. There were a cluster of boats in about 150 but I didn't want any of that action last night, as boats were already screaming about their led core.1st fish came on NBK(my hottest spoon this year)2nd fish on All glowended up 2 for 5Marv
stillfish Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Yes, lead core is good when your away frm the pack, nightmare when you have to get on the radio when someone comes to close. To me its not worth it i catch fish without it....
Priority1 Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Not bad Marv. I know what you mean about staying away from the pack. I'm kind of new to leadcore, and I'm certainly not going to run it in the dark near a pack.
GLF Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 I know a couple of guys who have an air horn on their boat, for just the occasion. Works pretty good.
DIRTY DOG Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 works great mike, if some one is not paying attentoin to whats around them or the radio , just give a lttle blast and they get the point and are more than happie to work with you
