doughman Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 What a great morning to be on the lake, we started south of the channel in 60 ft of water and trolled south to the nets and stayed right in that area for the next 2 hours. We took 6 fish out of 9 hits. We had an accrobatic Steelie bust us off after 5 good minutes of leaps and bounds. Right after that we only had 3 rods down, 2 dipseys and 1 rigger when the right side dipsey went off, I grab for the net and the left Dipsey went. Soon as I set the hook the rigger goes off and its 3 fish vs. 2 guys and guess what we won. The fish on the rigger swam with us until I was ready to reel it in. It was great morning, and by the sounds of it everyone had some sort of success.I can't begin to name all the spoons, 6 fish on 6 different spoons, I know 2 of the sppons were green and Blue dolphin and 2 came on glow spoons with blue ladder back design.60 ft of water the surface temps were in the 68-69 degree range a lot of boats radio'd success in the 90-110 range as well. I'll be out tomorrow morning for another shot at glory.Marv
GLF Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Nice job Marv! Muskegon is HOT right now! It will be a zoo out there this weekend. Is Muskegon your home port?
