Muskegon 7-28 & 7-29

Fishing was terriffic this weekend out of Muskegon. Friday was a bit slow for us, we ended up 7 for 14ish, but Saturday was better. We were 11 for 20 in the morning and back to the dock by 10:20. And we were 8 for 12 Saturday afternoon from 4:00 - 6:30. We fished from 40 - 85 FOW all weekend and didn't have problems finding big schools of bait and lots of cranky kings. Our best setup was a white spinny with fireworks tape and a blue bubble fly behind it. That accounted for 10 or 12 hits between Friday and Saturday, all of them back 150 on #2 dipsy. Other than that, pretty much anything that was in the water was going off. Riggers were good from 40 - 62 down with J-plugs. 7 color core was hot with almost anything on it.
