Monday Evening in Muskegon

Fished Monday evening out of Muskegon. Went 2 for 2 with a couple of nice kings. One 13 and the other 15 lbs. We took both in 85 fow north of Muskegon. One come on full core with kevorkian and the other on a dipsey set on 2 100' back with glow white spin docter/glow white teaser/mountain dew fly. I had a couple on board from Virginia that were Vacationing here. All in all it was a little slow but I don't think it helped that the coast guard was doing manuvers in 50 feet of water right when the bite should turn on. They sat over the water with there chopper for between 20-30 minutes just hovering about 10 feet off the water. We still took a couple of very respectable kings and the look on first timers faces when they finally get one of these hogs in is priceless!!

We did about the same, going 2 for 4 straight out in front 45-50 fow. Cyclonite on a 3 color core took a 13 lber and another long rip before another fish jumped and came off. green glow spinnie green fly took the other 15 lber on a diver set to 3 60 back. That setup also took another rip with no one home too. We launched at 9:15pm and fished from 9:30 and pulled lines at 10:45. Still getting hits when we left, but buddy had to be at work so we pulled them.
