Fish flies by the thousands began their seasonal hatch in some may say attack on St. Clair Shores last month.Often referred to as mayflies because they are first seen around river communities in May, when those more shallow waters begin to warm, the insects are too often looked at as a nuisance and rarely as a sign of environmental well-being.
