LkEffect
Made it out of Pentwater for a short morning trip on sunday. Lake temps were 45-50 degrees after the north wind. Headed south to the point and fished 80-120 FOW with 110-120 FOW being the best. Got into the biggest kings of the year for us with none being under 10lbs and one weighing in at 18.5lbs. The action was not fast but steady with the best action on leadcore from 2-10 colors. Hot setups were a 5 color with reg sized stinger mixed veggies and a 7 color with reg sized stinger lemon ice. Other hot spoons were orange crush and caramel dolphin in the regular stinger size. Marked multiple schools of bait south of the point and caught fish above them. Also caught a couple lakers mixed in. The big kings are around - Good Luck!
