salmonquest Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I was watching a show about fishing for stripers and they used an umbrella rig with swim baits. I know it's a different species but has anyone thougth about trying it for Salmon? I was thinking it would look like a school of bait.
DIRTY DOG Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 ya back in the day this use to be a great way to catch lakers and some kings you would use what was called a school of minnows with a body bait or spoon behind it not shure why they are not used much any more
