I have a question. Is it possible to harvest these fish and use them for fertilizer, cat food, or something else of the sort? With as many as there are in the rivers.....it could be highly profitable.

As far as I know you cannot.

Last year I talked to Gold Coast and Michelle had a gobie fishing tournament and she told me that the DNR got on her case about it. She was told that nobody can transport any invasive species out of Lake Michigan.

Sounds pretty stupid to me, but it has something to do with putting them in your live well and going to another inland lake with out washing out your live wells.

Just maybe the indian nets can help us out if they do come in. Tell the indians that they can have all the carp they want to sell for fertilizer.
