caznik Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Hello Member's, Well I took my dad and mom out to Port Sheldon for a Lake Michigan fishing trip this morning. We started fishing in 90' of water and headed out west and took our first fish on full core out 130'. Went out to 140' and turned around because of alot of other fishermen out there catching and marking more fish up close. As we turned around and got in 100' of water we took another hit of the same full core rod and lost it. Then about 20 minutes later we took a really nice hit on my dipsey rod set back at 170 on 3 with a blue bubble spin doctor and a blue caznik fly and lost that one to. Well from 5:30am till 11:00am we ended up 2 for 4 and was pretty slow fishing for us. We had nothing go at all on any of my riggers this morning. But I must say that there was a few other fishermen that was fishing this morning up really close and doing very good. In 60-100' of water seemed to be the place to fish for those guys. Well looks like I will give it a try next weekend and hope it will be much better for me then. So I hope you all get a chance and get out the rest of this weekend and have lots of luck. Happy fathers day, Cazzzzz My best lure of the day Stinger Stingray that i do not know the name of.
