GLF Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Walleye are in the river, but they have been hard to catch this week. Boat anglers are fishing all over, including in the channel by the Detroit Edison stacks and in Canadian waters. With the catch rates so sporadic, anglers are using a variety of methods including handlining, casting, jigging, and trolling. Yellow perch have been caught on shiners around Grosse Ile and Bob-Lo-Island.
Capt. Mike Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 They are hot now. Limit this morning. Alot of boats dipping nets.
