do turkeys smell well

i was wondering if i had bug spray on while i was turkey hunting would a turkey be able to smell it very well

I always use it when I turkey hunt. Make sure you get some that will repell ticks aslo.

NO. Not that great at being able to smell. If they could smell like deer I don't think you could have chance at getting them.

Probably why their eye site is so superior due to the lack of smelling....
