WRENCHED 4 IT Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Thanks for the info Ed. Still working on getting boat out of storage so this report will put a fire under my butt to get moving.
littleboat Posted March 16 Author Posted March 16 The lake is 1-1.5 ft below last years level right now. Becareful you don't back your trailer wheels off the last slab trying to get launched. Wherever you launch. It is not so much of a problem at PS. It will be a little tough getting the boats on/off the trailers while launching/retrieving this season.I'm hoping that we don't have so many windy days this year.Keep your bow strap on as long as possible on the PS launch. It's very steep. If you're not careful, your boat might launch itself before it gets to the ramp.Sent from my SM-A156U1 using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 2
FBD Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Also remember this is a rare harbor where the water flows into the channel from the lake and not out of the channel. Hence any ice around the channel might get sucked into the channel instead of washed out.
N II Deep Posted March 17 Posted March 17 One of the three ramps - also pushed in at Holland State park ramp. 2
Billy Philly Posted Tuesday at 03:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:03 PM Thanks for the info. I typically launch out of PS.
