Holland 9/30pm - 3 for 4

Nice evening. 3 for 4, with a pair of nice steelhead and a small king, all in 80-100FOW on a SW troll at 3.5mph speed at the ball (they liked it fast). All magnum sized spoons. Fished just South of Holland.

• 200 copper: Rasta Goose Spoon - Small King
• 225 copper: Mod. Holographic Blue Dolphin Spoon - 1 for 2, 12lb Steelhead
• 325 copper: Burnt Bread Moonshine Spoon - 9lb Steelhead

 

I hadn't been out in a couple weeks but I heard the steelhead were around so I targeted them with coppers & spoons. Incredible fighters, several times jumping out of the water and constant head shakes. Good rodeo.
