Fished solo, 1 for 1, caught small king, on std bloody nose slider on DR ball depth 95 in 125fow at 7:40am. Threw it back in and decided to work the area from 120-136 fow and see if I could get something bigger. Lots of marks but no success.

Also, when trolling south, I had a very strong west current, which surprised me by pushing my low diver across the stern of my boat. I had to do a double take, thinking a fish got it and the fight was on. But it wasn't. Then I thought, "Could the weight move by itself, or did I turn it in the wrong direction?" But I didn't. Very bizarre, only happened on a south troll.

I also ran one cannon ball, so it just skimmed the bottom, but no luck. This warm water is really challenging to catch fish of any size. I may have to go back to night fishing.

I had a lot of current today that moved my balls around going south and crated a huge tangle bringing up a SWR below as SD/fly set up.  The tangle on these two port riggers came up way over to the SB side.  Yes I agree with your observations.  For a very calm day this was unexpected.  I ran very short leads after that.
