Bellyripper 66 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Launched in town 6 am headed out in front fished in 35 to 48 ft of water . Forecast 1 ft ha more like 2.5 wind SE wave direction SW . 5/7 ran only 2 riggers 10 in white slick with pickled sunshine horde white glow ladder back 4 kings all 4 year olds.1 hoho Kings all missing fin . Two boats pounding out front Best Chance blew out Deep .Not going to say it was easy waves made boat control tough. Nw sliding in between the rollers seemed best .stayed just outside the midline. All fish within 3 ft bottom. Caught a rope with paddle backed up to it got paddle back tried to lift it figured anchor still attached. No go . Cut rope got about 50 ft 2inch triple wound zebra muscle rope. Lol 41 ft slightly south of pier.. Great morning winds waves slowly subsiding by 11 am. Netting fish it the swells solo no so fun lol.
