Fish4em Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Fished out of Holland 4 guy crew, set lines 25ft of water north of pier about 3/4 of a mile. Hunted fish on graph before setting lines. Fish are very scattered, occasional very small groups. Water was very muddy all the way out to 40ft. Fished till 11 only one small throwback and one release. Fished full 8 rod Coho, trout spread. Most fish were btw 10-20 down. Our best marks were 3/4 way to PS. They are not very willing to bite out there where we fished! Trolled on a North heading, speeds btw 2-2.4. Our spread was Thin Fins, small dodger w/peanut fly, small spoons. Good to be out. Which that the fish we marked would have bitten our hooks! Hope this helps and soon it will be good fishing. Stay safe and enjoy the water. 3
FBD Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 We were 4/7 south of Saugatuck bite got better as the day went on. Fished 10am to 1:30. Had to find pockets of the cleanest water available in one case we had our outer board 50’ from the beach boat sitting on the first sand bar in 2.5’ of water. Two of our fish were as small of not smaller than the one you got. We ran 2.5-3.1 as the motor ran better north bound in the tail wind with a little extra throttle after sitting idle for six months. 3
