Thanks for the update.

Be careful on the slime around those docks - member at another site I regular took a spill last fall and it ended up becoming fatal.

I don't know if it is true or not but on Michigan Sportsman Forum they were saying that the sand at the end of the Port Sheldon piers is so shallow that some larger boats may have trouble getting out?  Anyone know how shallow it is?

Some property owners said that Consumers Energy has applied for an emergency dredging permit and are waiting for approval.

One guy waned to tell me about how his grandfather and other residents used to dig a path from the sand to flush out the river mouth before the piers were put in.

I recall stories of when the bubbler wasn’t there and you waded as close as you dared to the drop off where the hot water was pumped across the beach.
