Pentwater 8/18 AM 7 for 12

I took the morning off work and took my girls out for a trip.  One stayed in the cuddy cabin sleeping most of the time though!  She's not much of an early bird.  We decided to try some deeper water to see what we could find.  We left port and headed west.  I started setting lines in 160 FOW and we worked west.  Everything fired today except a 100 Cu Craigs Flounder which I took off after a couple of hours and a 300 Cu with a Magnum Green Knight.

Steady action throughout the morning with a double thrown in the mix.  That makes for a great float.  Thanks for all the pics and data and congrats on your catch!

We will be heading out of Pentwater tonight and will report on what happens. Boat name is Farfrumwurken if you are out and give a shout on the radio.

Fished 8/19 evening. Fished straight out of Pentwater. Got one steelhead on a fixed slider 45 down on a down rigger in 180 FOW. Kept heading west and ended up with 2 more steelhead and 8 kings between 220 and 240 FOW. All hits came 50-60 feet down. Spinnies and flies on riggers and divers took fish. Also had spoon hits on riggers and divers. One fish on a full core but that was the only long line bite.
