Hockey390 Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 I'm getting a seasonal slip next year for my 21' walk around. I've always trailered it and never had it in the water more than about 8 hours. Is there anything special I need to do to make sure the boat is good to stay in the water for 2+ month stretches? The only things I'm planning so far is appropriate lines and fenders, and I installed a blue seas switch so I can make 100% sure there is no battery draw. MAGNUM LURE Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Bilge pump with float switch that is wired to the battery, Bottom paint, on board battery charger, bounce dryer sheets to prevent spiders in cabin and home defense spray for docks and lines. 1
laker1 Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Slip Prepare Thought Consider keeping your zincs clean if you can and maybe adding a sacrificial anode or two to either the slip (quietly) or also to your boat in case there is an unwanted electrical discharge from your neighbour.
