Aaron Nusbaum Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 We trolled from 7:30 to 11:30 am, started in 210 fow and trolled out to 250 then back to 210. Ended up 2 for 3 with a 13 lb king and 2 lb coho. Every hit came in 240 ft. I've never seen an alewife so big in a small coho's belly. Here what took the hits: 1-2 mixed veggies spindoctor with a SpongeBob meat rig on 300 copper 1-1 orange and white pro king spoon Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 4
Mega Byte Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 I've been catching those coho on some of my magnum moonshine spoons. They can barely fit the hook in their mouth but they are aggressive fish and they'll nail them. Beautiful color on that king.
CAC Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Great report. Those kings fight like crazy in this cold water. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman 1
