5forFighting Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Looking to do some after dark trolling for Kings out of Muskegon. Has anyone ever tried this and had any luck? I’ve heard of people doing really well and am eager to try for myself. Not sure if people are running just moonshines or what. Also, do you roll right from the night-bite or wait until later to head out? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman
Mega Byte Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I've heard it only works with a full moon. Make sure you have the nets in Muskegon marked on your GPS. You can barely see them during the day.
FBD Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Fish shallower, higher in the water column, in warmer water than you'd expect. I've never done well just after dark but have caught them as early as 1:30 am.
