Fished solo today, went 4 / 4, all kings between 11 and 17 lbs. 85 -90 fow. NW and SE troll was best, sog was 2.4 - 2.6. Rigger down 35 and 200 copper both with a mag Silver streak Kato spoon.

Well done.  Headed down Tuesday hoping they are still there.  Looks like they've set up in normal spring pattern

St Joseph 05/11 started in 80 fow want west to 200 as we heard fish were also out deeper Best water 160-170 50 down on riggers meat rig blue 9 lb king , 200 weighted steel blue green Dolphin 18 lb King,also took a small steel head on this,100 copper NBK small Steelhead,7 color Double orange crush small Steelhead , had 2 Walleye guys on board very little salmon fishing experience, lost as many fish as we boated 5-9 Lost mostly screamers ,except 1 nice steel at back of boat ,speed at ball 2.4-2.8 water temp 50 down 42 degrees water temp on top 48 degrees , loved watching these guys with a fish that actually fights to live !

Lake trout are thick 130 feet and out

Fished Saturday morning. 

4/5 in 70-90 ft water. 1 19.5lb King, 2 12lb Kings and 1 Laker. Lost the 5th a King at the back of the boat.

Carmel dolphin, meat, and a orange/blue/green spoon took the hits. 30-40 feet down was the depth.

Speed 2.5-2.7 at the ball

It was 48 at the surface and 45 at the ball. With the wind out of the east Saturday afternoon I'm sure it probably pushed the warmer water around

Thanks. I will go out of South Haven tomorrow and hope to locate some fish.

Heard of  2 South Haven reports  today:

One guy got 12 kings in 130-160fow.

Another got 2 kings, a steelie n 5 lakers in 180-190 fow.

No other details.

We are still doing St Joe tomorrow and SoHa next week.

Tomorrow we'll get to 75' and set lines with SW heading.
