Copilottruman Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 Started off the morning around 1100. Blasted right out to 225 and set up SW bound. Fished for around 5 hours in every direction at every speed between 2-4 mph and all the way out to 280. With only 2 shakers to show. Ran all different types and colors of spoons. Lake calmed down quite nicely the only second trip I’ve taken with the new boat. Would have been even nicer if my Biminis clear windows hadn’t yellowed in storage then we would have been even warmer. Gonna try again next week. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 2
numberguy77 Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 A crummy day fishing still beats a good day at work in my book! Way to give it a go on the late season offshore fishing.
Hoosier Daddy Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 We talked to you as we were heading out last night. We tried the Saugatuck pier heads and only managed one lake trout. On our way back however we came across a small buck swimming in 35 fow. Strange sight. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App 1
Copilottruman Posted October 26, 2018 Author Posted October 26, 2018 That’s pretty weird that he went out that far... by the way what channel is everyone using? Last two trips I’ve gone out I can’t seem to get a response from anyone but I know the radio is brand new. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
Mega Byte Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 At some point, your isinglass was probably cleaned with windex, detergent soap, dish soap, fantastic, simple green or something similar. These chemicals break down the plasticizers and UV inhibitors that prevent yellowing, hazing and cracking. 1
