Rabbit hunting in Van Buren County

Recently moved Just outside of Bangor Michigan and looking for private or public land to rabbit hunt. Any help would be appreciated and so would my Beagle.

The Fennville Farm Unit in the Allegan State Game Area has good cover for rabbits.  Being managed for waterfowl though the rules for hunting anything but ducks and geese area a bit complex.  I have heard the sweet sound of beagles baying from some of the outer zones while hunting against the refuge for geese.

Fennville Area...Seems to me you could hunt the outer zones of 8,9 and 10 except a few instances...Does anybody know or who I could contact...thanks

Link here with a phone number to their office and a map.  Waterfowl is closed for a big chunk of rabbit season but check with the office for the rules there.
