fishbuster Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Sounds like there aren't many Kings left in the lake anymore, not any good reports from any where?
jdh Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 There have been decent reports from up north (not much on this site though). I haven't posted lately, but haven't been out much either. Hopefully the fish are still out chasing bait in the middle of the lake.
Mega Byte Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 I will be in Manistee this weekend and will provide updates.
Reel-Deal Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Heading to Muskegon Monday... But I agree... It's been very quiet! Sent from my SM-G950U using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
millentia192 Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Charter boats in Grand Haven had a good haul tonight. Lot of lakers but saw several 15lb kings and good coho.
Aaron Nusbaum Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 I suspect they moved north, I've been hearing a lot of good reports out of Ludington and Frankfort Sent from my SM-G930V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
The Mary Gail Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Went out of Saugatuck 8/8 for evening when it was rolling pretty good...5 or 6 boats out trolling N. and South in 120 fow...I joined for a couple hrs with nothing to show...No bait fish, and no marks...Then moved trolled into 70fow with marking some fish, but no takers...Not sure when they are headed up the Kzoo river...But by the looks of it not anytime soon...Even with the water cooling off some about 50 or 60 ft down...

FBD Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Spent a month outting a new roof on my barn. Now gutters on the house. Need to wrap that up before combat fishing time...
