Many Michiganders have decried the Department of Environmental Quality’s approval for Nestle to pump water from the Great Lakes for just the annual $200 permit fee, but Michigan Governor Rick Snyder said that “as a practical matter, they followed the rules as they exist, they followed sound science, so the permit was issued.” Read the full story by WDIV-TV – Detroit, MI.
