GLIN Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Michigan state lawmakers have introduced new bills that they say will help make sure pipelines in the Great Lakes are safe. One would prohibit any anchor dropping in the Straits of Mackinac; others would create reporting requirements for pipeline owners and provide penalties if oil or gas is spilled.
