GLIN Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service researchers will soon have an estimate of how many bloodsucking sea lamprey use the Grand River in Grand Rapids, Michigan as spawning grounds. Researchers also studied whether lamprey are able to get through the Sixth Street dam which acts an unintended natural barrier from them spawning further into Michigan’s largest watershed.
