Why 3 holes in the hook end of fishing spoons?

Yep.  I've got a lure like that with those two little willow blades.  It produces fish for me.

Those are rattle spoons.

Some Yeck and northport nailer spoojs had that.

Jimmy spoons are my favorite rattle spoons. The ones in the picture look like Northport Nailer blanks. Are they painted on the back side?

They yeck “dingle” series has the little blades on either side of the split ring.
