GLIN Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 With only one breeding pair of wolves remaining on Michigan’s Isle Royale in Lake Superior, scientists have decided to reintroduce wolves from Minnesota to target a growing moose population. Wolf numbers on the island have plummeted in recent years as warmer temperatures prevented the formation of ice bridges, isolating the population and preventing new wolf arrivals.
