Need Help

heres what i have ,i just got the DIRTY DOG back after haveing the carb rebuilt and they told my that i need a new distributer in a bad way, the problem is that it has a 1979 omc 140 in it and he told me that it mite be a job trieing to find one , doe any one have any idias on where i can find or get one

hey terry a friend of my used to have the same boat as yours and he said your best bet would be west marrine in holland my phone book is old but heres the # they have 616-399-0099:grin:

Upgrade to electronics ignition. About $200. Here is a link. Don't get hung up on the OMC. That same GM engine is used in the Mercruisers also.
